MTV VMAs: Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, BTS Among Winners

The Weeknd won video of the year for "Blinding Lights" at Sunday's2020 MTV Video Music Awards. Other winners Sunday night included Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, BTS, Taylor Swift,H.E.R., Maluma, Machine Gun Kelly andMegan Thee Stallion.

Gaga's other wins included artist of the year and song of the year for "Rain on Me," her collaboration with Ariana Grande, while BTS was named best group, best K-pop and best pop, among others.

The Weeknd also won best R&B. Swift, meanwhile, won best director for her video "The Man," making her the first female solo artist in VMAs history to take home that award.

Keke Palmer hosted the show, which aired on MTV along with 11 sister channels, as well as on broadcast (The CW) for the first time.
