MTV VMAs 2023 Complete Winners List: Taylor Swift Takes Video Of The Year, Shakira, Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice & More Take Trophies
deadline.comTaylor Swift was the big winner at the 2023 MTV VMAs, including the top award of the night Video of the Year for “Anti-Hero.” The singer-songwriter had the odds in her favor as she was the most nominated artist of the night going into the award show with eight mentions.
Other winners of the night included Shakira with the Video Vanguard Award as well as Best Duo alongside Karol G for their song “TQG.” Anitta took Best Latin for “Funk Rave,” while Nicki Minaj won the Best Hip-Hop trophy for “Super Freaky Girl.” Diddy also took the stage to perform some of his hits and to accept the Global Icon Award.
One of the big moments of the night was when Nsync took the stage to present the first award of the night. Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick came together to hand out Swift with the Best Pop award.
Shakira performed some of her big hits ahead of receiving her special award. Other performers included Olivia Rodrigo, Fall Out Boy, Metro Boomin with Future, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Swae Lee & NAV, and Peso Pluma.
