There’s been an exciting announcement about the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. On Friday (August 5), MTV revealed the first round of performers slated to perform at this year’s show, which will be held on Sunday, August 28th at 8 p.m.

at the Disco are the first performers to be announced, per Variety, with more to come in the following weeks. Anitta will be making her VMAs debut with her performance with her new single “Evolver,” while J Balvin will be returning to the stage for the first time since 2019 to premiere his song “Nivel de Perreo” with Ryan Castro. Marshmello and Khalid are set to hit the stage with a performance of their collaboration “Numb.” Panic!
at the Disco, who last performed at the VMAs in 2018, will debut their new single “Middle of a Breakup,” the title track of their upcoming album Viva Las Vengeance.Read more on justjared.com
