MSP praises new funding for people suffering with Long Covid in Lanarkshire

A Lanarkshire MSP has welcomed funding for people with Long Covid in South Lanarkshire.The Scottish Government has announced an initial tranche of funding for projects to improve the care and support from those suffering with long lasting effects of Covid.The £3 million investment will be given to health boards across Scotland to introduce care coordinator roles, extra resources to support a patient-centred assessment and more capacity for community rehabilitation to support people with issues affecting their day-to-day quality of life.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
