Mrs Brown's Boys' Gary Hollywood breaks silence on show's 'racial slur' after producer 'walked out'

Scottish actor Gary Hollywood once played hairdresser Dino Doyle in the award-winning sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys, but these days he's firmly focusing on fatherhood.

Introducing his newest arrival into the world with wife of five years, Cherylanne, Gary has welcomed Carter John Hollywood, who was born on 11 October at 8pm, weighing 7lb 4oz. "He made all our dreams came true," the TV star smiled during out exclusive photoshoot.

Given the fact that Gary was on hit TV show Mrs Brown's Boys for 20 years, we had to ask the 45 year old actor what is thoughts were on the recent controversy surrounding the series.

It was reported that Brendan O'Carroll, the star and creator of Mrs Brown's Boys, had to say sorry after a "clumsy joke" during a script read-through led to a racism probe at the BBC.The comedian acknowledged that his attempt at humour with the character Agnes didn't land as intended, confessing that it "backfired".
