Brendan O’Carroll had to halt his show at Glasgow’s Hydro arena at the weekend after a brawl broke out in the audience.Fans reported a “10-minute punch-up” soon after the start of the Mrs Brown's Boys' D'Tour live performance on Saturday night.
The Irish comedian has admitted he stopped the gig for a brief period but he didn’t know it was because of a fight in the crowd.
A spokesperson for the star said he’d thought it was a “medical emergency” that caused the drama, and he hadn’t realised it was an altercation in the crowd.
Security swooped in when the show paused and dealt with the situation which meant the spin-off show from the hit BBC One comedy, which is filmed in Glasgow, could go on as planned, as reports the Irish Mirror.
