MovieLabs Launches Leadership Council with Leon Silverman as Chair (EXCLUSIVE)

MovieLabs is launching a leadership council for its recently-formed MovieLabs Industry Forum, with industry vet Leon Silverman as chair.

The council is made up by MovieLabs studio members, including Paramount Pictures, The Walt Disney Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal City Studios and Warner Bros.

Entertainment, joined by Adobe, Amazon Web Services, Dolby, Avid, DreamWorks Animation and Skywalker Sound. Additionally, inaugural members of the Industry Forum include Final Draft, United Talent Agency, Evercast, LucidLink, Prime Focus Technologies, Sohonet and Sony Group, alongside other tech ventures.

The collective goal is to convene media and technology companies to support MovieLabs’ 2030 Vision, a published plan for the future of production, post and creative technologies aimed at enabling secure, interoperable workflows.
