A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after a crash on a Scots road on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency services rushed to the A920 near Huntly around 12.45pm to reports of a collision.

The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is not known. The road remained closed for around two hours and reopened at 2.55pm, Aberdeen Live reports.

Police Scotland confirmed they attended the incident. A spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving a motorcycle on the A920 near Huntly around 12.45pm on Wednesday, September 20."The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment and the road reopened around 2.55pm."
