Now in its 72nd year, the Golden Reels honor outstanding achievement in sound editing, sound design, music editing and foley artistry in 20 categories spanning film, television and video games.
Winners will be announced February 23 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. Oscar winner Kevin Costner to receive the MPSE Filmmaker Award, and supervising sound editor Greg Hedgepath to receive the Career Achievement Award Last year’s top Golden Reel film honors went to Oppenheimer, Maestro, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Society of the Snow.
Founded in 1953, the Motion Picture Sound Editors is a nonprofit group of professional sound and music editors who work in the motion picture, TV and gaming industries.
