Logan Dunachie has joined Clyde on a two-year deal as Brian McLean made his first signings as Clyde's new head coach.The Motherwell academy product spent time on loan at Lowland League East Kilbride last season and League One side Forfar Athletic, but never made a first team appearance for the Steelmen.Centre-back Dunachie, 19, was one of three new signings announced by the club, as midfielder Stuart Carswell - who started his career at Fir Park - joined on a one-year deal from League Two Dumbarton and fellow midfielder Ross Forbes arrived from Stenhousemuir.McLean told the Clyde website: “It’s good to get some fresh faces into the club to build the squad.
Ross and Stuart will definitely be a boost, especially with their experience in League 1 and 2 which will help the team greatly.”There have also been contract extension at the club with midfielder Barry Cuddihy, defender Ross Lyon and goalkeeper Neil Parry all signing one-year deals, while defender Peter Grant penned a new two-year contract.McLean added: "I am pleased to have these players back and to see their commitment to the club.“After being here last year and working with myself that will give us a good base to build from and help the group going forward.”Conner Duthie was offered a new deal by the club, but has decided to move on.Meanwhile, McLean announced he is retiring from playing to focus on his dugout role, having replaced Jim Duffy who has moved upstairs to become the Bully Wee's director of football.It brings the curtain down on a 22-year career, which started at Rangers and included spells with Motherwell, Falkirk, Ross County, Dundee United and Preston Northe End, among others.The 38-year-old said: "It wasn’t really a hard decision to do, I’ve had a
