Morrisons turns into a chippy selling two meals, with sides, for £14

Supermarket Morrisons has turned into a chip shop as it now sells a ‘Takeaway Chippy for Two’ in all its cafés. Customers can pick up ‘The Chippy’ takeaway bag for two, costing £14 for More Card holders and £21 for those without.

Customers can go for traditional fish and chips, or swap out the fish for golden breaded scampi or a battered sausage customers.

And you can select two mains, all of which are freshly prepared and served with chips, for the £14 price. Two sides are also included in the deal and customers can choose from traditional mushy peas, gravy, Heinz Baked Beans, or a chip shop style curry sauce.

Two soft drinks are included in the offer, as well as salt and vinegar. Chris Strong, Senior Café Buying Manager at Morrisons, said: “The Fish & Chips in our cafés is loved by customers all over the UK.
