Morrisons looking to hire Christmas workers to fill 3,500 roles this season

Tis the season for Christmas for Morrisons as the supermarket has launched its search for temporary roles this festive season.The chain is looking to fill 3,500 roles in shops in roles ranging from customer assistants, home delivery drivers, production and warehouse operatives to meet demand this Christmas.No experience is required, just "a smile and a desire to help", says Morrisons.

The role comes with the benefit of a 15 percent staff discount card and a 10 percent discount card for a friend or family member.The jobs in Morrisons span across stores, food manufacturing sites and logistics operations nationwide.

The supermarket giant says people in temporary roles have gone on to find permanent positions after the festive rush.Clare Grainger, People Director at Morrisons, said: "Christmas is one of our busiest periods and we’re looking for an additional 3,500 people to join our talented teams.

These new colleagues will play a crucial role in creating and delivering the products our customers need to help make their celebrations special."There are lots of great opportunities on offer across the UK with both temporary and permanent roles in our stores, manufacturing and logistics sites."Other supermarkets have already debuted their Christmas offerings.
