Ellise Shafer Morgan Wallen was arrested Sunday night on reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct charges after he allegedly threw a chair from the rooftop of a Nashville bar.
Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed the arrest to Billboard in a statement. “At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
He is cooperating fully with authorities,” Robinson said. According to local Nashville news outlet WKRN, Wallen was booked into Metro Jail early on Monday morning and released a few hours later.
Arrest documents detailing the incident obtained by WKRN said that two Metropolitan Nashville Police Department officers were standing in front of Chief’s Bar on Broadway when a chair came down the six-story building and hit the street approximately 3 feet away from them.
