More than 200 homes and business have been hit by a power cut in Wythenshawe. Electricity North West said on their website that they were first made aware of the incident just after 12pm on Saturday (May 9).
A total of 220 properties have been affected by the power cut. The power cut was caused by an 'unexpected problem with the underground electricity cables that provide electricity' to the properties.
Engineers are currently on site. Electricity North West said the power may not be restored until just 6pm this evening. The postcodes affected by the power cut include properties in Benchill, Peel Hall and and Sharston.
