Tim McMullan, who stars as detective Atticus Pünd in the BBC’s new series Moonflower Murders, has had an impressive career across stage, film, and television.
But while the actor is instantly recognisable in his role as the fictional sleuth in the BBC crime drama, a sequel series to the hit Magpie Murders, you might not be as familiar with his life away from the camera.
Known for his unique approach to acting, Tim’s off-screen life is dedicated to theatre and storytelling, and filled with prestige.
Born in 1963 in Lambeth, London, Tim’s acting journey started early, where he studied at the University of St. Andrews before he pursued formal acting training at the world-famous Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).
