Travis Scott is speaking out regarding the tragedy that occurred at his Astroworld music festival in Houston last year.  In November, Scott was performing at the festival when a crowd surge led to 10 deaths and hundreds of injuries. On Tuesday, the rapper shared with his Instagram followers a link to his philanthropic campaign, Project HEAL, a multi-tier, long-term series of community-focused philanthropy and investment efforts.  Travis Scott released a statement on Tuesday regarding the tragedy that occurred at his Astroworld event in Houston in November.

Initiatives that will be funded through the project include academic scholarships, mental health resources, a creative design centre and “tech-driven solutions for event safety”.“Over the past few months I’ve been taking the time and space to grieve, reflect and do my part to heal my community,” Scott said when announcing the project on Instagram earlier today (March 9).
