This dashcam footage shows the moment a former Bolton Wanderers footballer ran from his Range Rover after a dramatic police chase.

Officers tried to pull over Gary Madine - who made 96 appearances for Bolton between 2015 and 2018 - in Gateshead in the early hours of the morning on April 3 this year, Chronicle Live reports.

But the striker led police on a chase, before crashing his Range Rover into a Ford Focus and trying to run from the scene. He was banned from driving for a year.
