The Saturdays star Mollie King has officially began her gruelling 500 km cycle ride from London to Hull - and she’ll be making her way through Greater Manchester later this week.
The BBC Radio 1 presenter was cheered off from the BBC headquarters in London this morning (March 11) by fellow hosts Greg James and Matt Edmondson, as well as fiancé Stuart Broad and daughter Annabella, as she kicked off the impressive pedal feat.
Despite having never cycled on roads before, Mollie is aiming to travel between the radio station’s base and Hull, which is the hometown of her late father.
The challenge is being taken part in aid of Comic Relief's Red Nose Day - which takes place this Friday (March 15).
