Mo Farah has revealed plans to become a coach and mentor after he hangs up his running spikes. And Britain’s most decorated athlete will take a step in that direction today when he runs in the 40th London Marathon.
Farah has agreed to take part not as a competitor but as pacemaker to Brits looking to achieve the 2:11:30 Olympic qualifying time for next summer’s Tokyo Games. “Being able to give back to a younger generation, just sharing what you’ve done and how you’ve got to that position I think is a key thing,” he told . “It’s something I’m very passionate about and that’s one of the reasons I’ve got my coaching licence out of the way and I’m good to go.
