YOUNG Scots endurance racer Sandy Mitchell has spoken of his delight at achieving back-to-back 24 Hours of Spa wins.The 20-year-old mastered atrociously wet conditions to power ahead in his Barwell Motorsport team’s Lamborghini Huracan Evo GT3 and take the chequered flag in the Pro-Am class.The hard-fought victory in the Blue Riband round of the GT World Challenge Europe follows the Forfar flyer’s Silver Cup class win at the Belgian F1 circuit in 2019.Finishing an impressive 15th overall out of 56 starters, last weekend’s success also moves Mitchell to third in the GT series’ Pro-Am title race.Partnered by father and son Rob and Ricky Collard, plus Russian ace Leo Machitski, the Scot spent more than 10 hours at the wheel in total.
