This Morning's Josie Gibson made a triumphant return to ITV, causing a lot of noise among viewers who all shared the same opinion on her comeback.
The 39-year-old joined Dermot O'Leary on the fan favourite. Eager fans swarmed social media with messages of delight, flooding platform X - previously known as Twitter - with praise as the presenter ended her long-term hiatus and returned to her post.
Viewers were quick to express their excitement at Josie's comeback. One person wrote: "Josie's back #thismorning." Another fan asked bemusedly: "Josie - where the hell have you been?" A third chimed in: "Woooooooo Josie is back #ThisMorning." (sic) The joy continued, with another posting: "It's Josie! #ThisMorning." Meanwhile, a fifth commentator, clearly exasperated by her absence, exclaimed: "Josie's back, about b***y time, #thismorning." (sic) The beloved TV personality had been absent due to commitments that included filming for her upcoming Channel 5 show First Class Travel and a project delving into 1970s cuisine, reports the Mirror.
Speaking to Lancs Live, Josie revealed: "I've been filming a show about the 1970s, that is again for Channel 5. It's not like a diet show, but like an investigative, like how they were eating in the 1970s." While presenting the food programme, Josie was not impressed with the cuisine, describing it as "bl***y awful." The Big Brother favourite has kept details of her new show under wraps, with its title and release date remaining unannounced, but Channel 5 is expected to air the programme sometime in January.
