Jay Slater's heartbroken mum has issued a new statement on the search for her son and detailed how the remaining money raised by the GoFundMe page set up following his disappearance will be spent.
Debbie Duncan, 55, reiterated her statement issued yesterday (July 2) while updating people anxiously following the search efforts.
Posting on the GoFundMe page, that has raised almost £50,000, she said that, alongside money for local volunteers and mountain rescue, the family is also putting together a package of equipment for British searchers who have flown to Tenerife, the Mirror reports.
The mum wrote: "Hi again everyone. Your generosity has been vast, and we are so grateful for all of your support and kindness during this unimaginable time for our family.
