Milly Alcock's 'Supergirl' Movie Sets Release Date, Expected Filming Timeline Revealed

Milly Alcock is set to bring a new version of Supergirl to the big screen! The 24-year-old House of the Dragon star will be portraying Kara Zor-El in the upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and the release date was just revealed.

This is the second film that has a release date set from the new DC Studios, under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran. Keep reading to find out more… Back in April, it was revealed that Craig Gillespie will be directing the feature, which is reportedly looking to start filming this fall, THR reports.

The site also shares that the film’s release date has been set for June 26, 2026, which is nearly one year after Superman hits theaters, kicking off the new DCU film slate. Ana Nogueira penned the script, which was inspired by the Tom King and Bilquis Evely comic.
