mirror.co.ukIce-cool Donald Fear says there was chance of him pulling the plug on his planned caravan holiday to Whitley Bay - despite scooping TV's ultimate prize.
The teacher was shown last night winning the jackpot on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. He answered the 15 questions from host Jeremy Clarkson in just under 20 Minutes to race to the prize and become the first big winner since 2006.
The show, which went out on Friday, was actually filmed back in July. Donald and his wife of 33 years Deb celebrated winning a million with a modest UK holiday in a caravan - just like they planned.
He said: "Of course we had booked the caravan holiday well in advance. "We were supposed to be taking the ferry from Plymouth to Santander.
