Steve Haslam once told himself that this time next year he would be a millionaire - and it came true. The Essex grafter went from unblocking toilets to doing multi-million pound deals at the age of 23.

Steve was told he would never amount to anything in life, but now owns a chain of pubs and restaurants with wife Jo. The couple, who have an extortionate £3,000-a-week disposable income, have splashed out on three cars and a six-bedroom home in Chelmsford.

Eldest daughter Paige has moved out, while they live with Oliver, 13, and 16-year-old Holly, who has £20,000 a year spent on her golf lessons.
