Hair loss during or after pregnancy is something that many women will experience, though talking about it hasn’t always been quite so common.

So it’s always positive when a celeb uses their platform to open up that conversation – something former Made In Chelsea star and mum-of-two Millie Mackintosh has just done.The 32 year old gave birth to her first child, Sienna, with husband Hugo Taylor back in 2020, and welcomed a second daughter, Aurelia, last year – and now in a series of Instagram Stories, she’s shared with fans more about her experience of hair loss and breakage, as part of an ad with JS Health. "I first started to experience hair fall and breakage when I was pregnant with Sienna,” she told fans in a clip posted to Instagram Stories. “I'd always kind of taken my hair for granted, but it had always been something that made me feel really good and made me feel confident.” She continued, “So having it suddenly start to break and snap – and I noticed bits coming out in the shower and when I brushed my hair – it definitely made me feel self conscious, especially at a time when my body was changing beyond my control.To suddenly have my hair not looking good was really getting me down.” Millie went on to explain that part of her hair journey involved taking JS Health’s Hair and Energy supplements, which she says she first started taking after she had finished breastfeeding daughter Sienna. “I took them between my pregnancies, and then I took them again after I'd finished breastfeeding Aurelia, and honestly, my hair has never looked better,” Millie explained. “It is so much thicker and longer and healthier."
