Mila Kunis 'never been more proud' to be Ukrainian as she pledges $3m donation

Mila Kunis has revealed she has "never been more proud to be Ukrainian" amid Russia's full-scale invasion of the country. Russia's actions have been met with worldwide condemnation, and as a humanitarian crisis unfolds in Ukraine, many people across the globe are searching for ways in which they can help and support Ukrainian citizens.

And actress Mila was joined by her husband Ashton Kutcher as they pledged to match $3million in donations to "provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts" and also raise up to $30,000,000 by setting up a GoFundMe page.

In an Instagram clip shared on March 3, Mila began by saying: "I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, in 1983. I came to America in 1991." Mila continued: "I've always considered myself American—a proud American. "I love everything this country has done for myself and my family.

But today, I have never been more proud to be Ukrainian." Ashton showed his support to his wife, as he added: "I've never been more proud to be married to a Ukrainian." Mila continued: "The events that have unfolded in Ukraine are devastating.There is no place in this world for this kind of unjust attack on humanity." Ashton added: "While we witness the bravery of the people of the country she was born in, we are also witness to the needs of those who have chosen safety. "We're raising funds to support a relief effort that will have an immediate impact and will supply refugee and humanitarian aid to the area.The 70s Show couple explained that they would send the raised funds to Flexport and AirBnB to provide housing and supplies for refugees based in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova.
