Mikel Arteta has shed some light on the role Willian will play for Arsenal next season. The 32-year-old was signed on a free transfer on Friday, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal worth around £100,000-a-week.
Arteta pointed out that the Brazilian is capable of playing in "three or four different positions", and added that he brings "a lot of versatility".
Willian is unlikely to cement a first-team place at Arsenal, but appears likely to be used as an attacking utility man, filling in across the park whenever and wherever he is needed.
