Mike Tindall, the ex-England rugby legend, has expressed his enthusiasm for participating in the celebrity version of a popular Channel 4 programme, revealing himself as a 'big fan'.

Mike, who has ventured into podcasting and appeared on I'm A Celebrity, is now eager to showcase his culinary talents by competing in the Celebrity Great British Bake Off.During the lockdown five years ago, Tindall displayed his knack for baking on social media by whipping up brownies and has since divulged his fondness for the craft.

Speaking with The Times, he confessed: "I don't cook because I'm not skilled enough, but I'm more of a baker. I'm good at making bread and butter puddings and brownies."However, Tindall, 46, jokingly noted that his baking efforts aren't always appreciated by his spouse, Zara Tindall, of the Royal Family.

He quipped: "If you keep baking those things for your wife, she won't like you in the end."He further explained that he's concocted a middle ground that works well for both him and his royal wife by saying, "If you only make puddings every now and then, they can have a sweet tooth, but you won't make her fat." Mike and Zara Tindall first crossed paths when he was vying for glory at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
