Mike Schur-Ted Danson Netflix Comedy Gets Premiere Window, New Title & First-Look Photos
deadline.comWe’re getting the first look at Ted Danson in A Man on the Inside (fka A Classic Spy), the new Netflix comedy series from Mike Schur, set for premiere this November.
Created by Schur, the eight-episode half-hour series is based on the 2021 Oscar-nominated documentary The Mole Agent. It revolves around Charles, played by Danson, who gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a PI and becomes a mole in a secret investigation.
In addition to Danson, the cast includes Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Stephanie Beatriz, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sally Struthers, Margaret Avery, John Getz, Susan Ruttan, Lori Tan Chinn, Clyde Kusatsu, Marc Evan Jackson, Jama Williamson, Wyatt Yang, Deuce Basco, Lincoln Lambert, Kerry O’Malley.
Schur executive produces via his Fremulon banner along with Morgan Sackett as well as David Miner for 3 Arts Entertainment, Maite Alberdi and Marcela Santibañez for Micromundo Producciones and Julie Goldman and Christopher Clements for Motto Pictures.
