Mikael Silvetsre has delivered a damning assessment on his former club amid their tribulations this season. Manchester United are set to miss out on a top four spot this season, with Saturday’s loss to Arsenal all virtually ending any hopes of qualifying for Champions League football next season.

Silvestre explained that the team ethos must be corrected first before the club have any chance of reaping success. “There aren’t many positive vibes at United and, I’m not sure if this is due to the results or if there's a bad atmosphere affecting results,” he said. “It should be a concern for the entire club because if you don’t have a harmonious dressing room, you won’t achieve anything.
