Toni Basil's peppy pop hit Mickey is known for its energy-packed, cheerleader chant chorus - and even at 80 years old, the singer still looks as sensational as she did in her MTV star days.
Back in 1982, Toni released a remake of a single called Kitty from British glam-pop group Racey, changing the name to Mickey and slapping on an incredibly catchy cheerleader-inspired chant of "Hey Mickey!" She even wore her own former high school cheerleading outfit for the iconic video, one of the first to be shown on the then newly-launched music video channel MTV, and it proved an instant pop classic that endures decades on.
Although Toni is now 80, she's still very much on the showbiz scene with some impressive film choreography credits to her name, and appearing at a recent Grammy Musueum event to mark 40 years of Mickey she turned back the clock to look as stunning as ever.
