The Oscar-winning actress brings Madame Morrible to life in the big-screen adaptation of the classic musical, which was directed by her Crazy Rich Asians collaborator Jon M.
Chu. While at the Red Sea Film Festival, Michelle said that Jon “could throw the phonebook at me, and I would say yes.” However, she wasn’t sure that she was the best fit for a musical.
