Michelle Elizabeth Keegan (born 3 June 1987) is an English actress, known for her roles as Tina McIntyre in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street and Sergeant Georgie Lane in the BBC drama series Our Girl. Keegan also starred as Tracy in Ordinary Lies and as Tina Moore in Tina and Bobby.

The actress played lead role of Army medic Georgie Lane in the drama but revealed she was stepping down last month after four successful seasons to focus on other opportunities elsewhere.
But in a U-turn, Michelle has teased her character Georgie might appear on the show again sometime in the future. Speaking to What's On TV, Michelle said while the decision to leave had been hard, it might not be the end for her after all.
She said: “I’ve had the most incredible four years. It was a very hard decision to quit, but I just felt it was time to explore other opportunities.
