Some of the biggest stars of the big screen descended on the Royal Festival Hall in London for the annual event which handed out gongs in celebration of another year in cinema - both on-screen and behind it.
This year's BAFTAs saw Christopher Nolan epic Oppenheimer sweep up, winning seven awards including best film, best director, best actor for Cillian Murphy and best supporting actor for Robert Downey Jr.
Meanwhile, Emma Stone was named best actress for Poor Things, the fairytale adaptation of the novel of the same name, which won five gongs in total.
