The Stockport-born actress shot to fame after landing a role on the Salford-based soap back in 2008. She bagged the role of Tina McIntyre in the long-running soap aged 20, beating hundreds of others to the role.
Michelle arrived on the cobbles when Tina had a chance encounter with David Platt while visiting the Rosamund Street Medical Centre.
The pair soon started dating and within a week of the relationship, she had sex with David and fell pregnant before seeking Gail Platt's advice and having a private abortion.
