Katie Price that inspired her to enter The Priory to beat her alcohol addiction.The Liberty X star, 42, has been sober for nine months and previously shared shocking photos of herself at the height of her alcoholism to show others that recovery is possible.

She revealed that the turning point came for her when she was visited by her friend Katie Price, 43, and saw the impact that The Priory had on her life.

Speaking on the One For The Road podcast, Michelle revealed that Katie and her manager had helped gather the funds for her to get treatment after she vowed to kick alcohol and drugs for good.

She explained: ‘I remember being absolutely done for maybe a couple of months, but the absolute “done, done” was probably a week in the Priory.‘The moment I recognised that I wanted what somebody else had was when I was with my friend Katie Price and I had just had a massive night out with my other friends.‘It ended in a really bad argument, and my other friends had blamed themselves for me going in the Priory.
