Former striker Michael Owen is fearful that Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount could head down the same path as Angel Di Maria and Paul Pogba at Manchester United.

Big expectations were on Rashford's and Mount's shoulders for different reasons heading into the start of this campaign. Rashford was looking to build on last season's impressive tally of 30 goals, while Mount was the subject of a big-money move from Chelsea in the summer.

Both were expected to be key components in manager Erik ten Hag's thinking this term, but neither of them currently make it into his strongest XI, with Rashford struggling for form and Mount on the comeback trail from his latest injury.
