Comedian Michael McIntyre is back on BBC One with his hit gameshow The Wheel, complete with celebrity guests, plenty of laughter, some new format shake-ups and one huge spinning wheel - but it was his noticeably svelte figure that had people talking when the show returned. The first set of celebs braving the wheel in the first episode included Jonathan Ross, Joanne McNally, Gethin Jones, Judi Love, Niko Omilana, Clodagh McKenna, and William Hanson.
And chatshow king Jonathan couldn't help but notice Michael's dramatic weightloss - when the wheel landed on the topic of comfort foods.
The Masked Singer UK judge teased Michael, saying: "You don't eat at the moment, do you? You look like you've lost so much weight."Michael fired back: "Thank you Jonathan but you've got things under control.
You've yo-yo'd over years." Jonathan concurred: "I yo-yo all the time but guess what? I did two days of exercise this week. I did the plank for nearly 40 seconds." Indeed, Michael has previously opened up on how he lost more than two stone at a £4,000-per-week weight loss clinic, but has since put some back on and developed a bizarre fear in the process. The comedian, 47, has revealed that he traveled to Austria in an attempt to get into shape at the gruelling clinic but he's now scared to eat apples after undergoing tests that told him the fruit would make him 'lethargic'.
