Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Rangers injury doubts for tomorrow’s clash against Ross County. The pair picked up knocks in Thursday night’s Europa League win over Alashkert at Ibrox, and coach Michael Beale revealed they have been monitored ahead of the trip to Dingwall.

He also admitted that Steven Gerrard could be without some of his main men for that game and next week’s second leg in Armenia.

Alfredo Morelos’ strike gives the Gers a slender lead to protect in Yerevan and Gerrard could be down on bodies for his quest to reach the group stages.That's in addition to midfielder John Lundstram, who will be suspended after his first-half sending off, and Kemar Roofe who is set to serve the final game of a four-match UEFA ban stemming from last season's clash with Slavia.
