Michael Beale insists the chance to fire Rangers into a cup final should be the only motivation Alfredo Morelos needs ahead of Sunday’s Viaplay Cup showdown against Aberdeen at Hampden.
The Ibrox boss was speaking as he was offered the chance to respond to Anthony Stewart’s claim in his own pre-match match press conference that Antonio Colak is the better of the two Ibrox frontmen and would prefer to face the Croatian.
Beale revealed how Colak is “touch and go” for the match which means Stewart might well get his wish of facing Morelos but the Rangers boss resisted the temptation to bite back at the Aberdeen captain.
Instead, the Englishman would only say: “That’s an interesting opinion. It’s a personal opinion. I don’t know if Alfredo needs any more motivation than playing in a final.
