The Met Office's latest weather radar map shows how cold it will be across the UK overnight for the rest of the week. It comes after the weather agency issued an amber alert for snow and ice across UK following the coldest night of winter so far.
The warning for snow was issued 3pm on Wednesday and 6pm on Thursday in north-west Scotland and the Northern Isles, meaning road delays are likely and some vehicles could be stranded.
