Lori Loughlin is returning to Great American Family to headline Fall Into Winter, her first romantic comedy for the network. Fall Into Winter begins production October 23 for premiere in January 2023 as part of the network’s annual winter programming event.

Queens Of The Stone Age have announced reissues of three albums: their 1998 self-titled debut, their 2013 record ‘Like Clockwork‘ and their most recent album, 2017’s ‘Villains‘.Limited edition vinyl including special colour vinyl pressings will be available as well as exclusive new and restored artwork, posters and more.‘Queens Of The Stone Age’ is reissued digitally today (September 22), with a vinyl release to follow on October 21. Restored to its original tracklist and adorned by the long out-of-print original Frank Kozik artwork, the reissue will feature an obi-strip designed by longtime collaborator Boneface and will be available on standard black and limited edition opaque orange vinyl.

Wired Productions has announced the launch of Black Razor Records, a music label that will raise money for mental health charity Safe In Our World with its first EP.Black Razor Records will aim to “merge video games with creative, original music and give music creators a paltform to showcase and commercialise their talent.”The label’s first release will be ‘Arcade Paradise EP’, which features music from Arcade Paradise – a Wired-published indie game that we gave four-stars in our review this year.‘Arcade Paradise EP’ is a collaboration between former Prodigy live drummer Kieron Pepper, Stu Brootal of Ivar & The Horde, and producer Ben Pickersgill.Discussing the EP, Pepper shared that the story of Arcade Paradise and protagonist Ashley’s “struggle with authority is one we have all experienced at some point in our lives.””When we were briefed about the theme, it was easy to quickly understand and relate to,” added Pepper. “Stu Brootal and his crew [Ivar & The Horde] smash it out of the park with the right level of anger and energy.”All proceeds from sales of the EP on Bandcamp will be donated to Safe In Our World, a charity that aims to improve mental health awareness within the video game industry.“Music has always been in the DNA of Wired Productions, so setting up a music label is a natural step for us,” explained Leo Zullo, managing director at Wired Productions.

Logitech is gearing up to release its new handheld gaming device, G Cloud, which has native GeForce Now support.GeForce Now is the cloud-based game streaming service from Nvidia which delivers real-time gameplay from the cloud to gaming devices such as PCs, iPads and Android devices, and now the G Cloud will be supported from launch.The G Cloud is Logitech’s Android-powered handheld gaming console, and alongside the compatibility with GeForce Now, other cloud-based gaming services are supported such as Steam Link and Xbox Cloud Gaming.The console features a 7-inch touchscreen, more than 12 hours of battery life, haptic feedback and remappable controls. It also has an integral gyroscope, meaning players can twist and turn the console to control compatible games.The G Cloud can also download remote play apps and stream video, as well as link up with local games on an Xbox console via the Xbox app.Ujesh Desai, the vice president and general manager of Logitech Gaming, said that the company wanted to challenge itself to “build a device that was perfectly optimised for cloud gaming,” which meant including precision controls “similar to a high-end Xbox controller” as well as a large screen, good battery life and “a lightweight design so players can enjoy long gaming sessions, without any compromise.”Alongside the release of the G Cloud, GeForce Now is adding Portal with RTX to its supported catalogue in November, which will be free for Portal owners.

Tapper, CNN’s chief Washington correspondent, will host the network’s 9 p.m. from Washington, while Camerota and Laura Coates will share anchor responsibilities between 10 p.m. and midnight. Tapper is the first anchor to get a semi-regular perch at 9 since the much-scrutinized departure of the time slot’s previous occupant, Chris Cuomo. Camerota. who has held down slots in both the morning and the afternoon, and Coates, a legal analyst who has in thepast been under consideration for a primetime assignment, will take over a time period that has been led by Don Lemon, who is moving soon to work on a new CNN morning program.

After unveiling an alliance with the culinary influencer that would have put a new original series with her at the center on streaming hub CNN+, the Warner Bros. Discovery-backed outlet will launch a program from her on its flagship cable outlet this fall. A four-episode series, “(More Than) A Cooking Show,” featuring Roman learning about ingredients, traveling, and trying recipes, will debut on CNN in the fall. The series is produced by Zero Point Zero Productions, the company that was to have created her CNN+ program, and its announcement suggests that CNN is continuing to work to find roosts for several of the concepts it created for the broadband service. CNN+ was quickly scuttled after its launch by a corporate parent eager to cut costs and place CNN content in other parts of its streaming portfolio.

Jem Aswad Senior Music Editor Since the dawn of radio, the United States has been and remains the only major country in the world where terrestrial radio pays no royalties to performers or recorded-music copyright owners of the songs it plays — a situation that is largely due to the powerful radio lobby’s influence in Congress. While the more than 8,300 AM and FM stations across the country pay royalties to songwriters and publishers, they have never paid performers or copyright holders, although streaming services and satellite radio do. On Thursday morning, Senators Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) introduced the bipartisan American Music Fairness Act, which aims to rectify that situation by “ensur[ing] artists and music creators receive fair compensation for the use of their songs on AM/FM radio. This legislation will bring corporate radio broadcasters up-to-speed with all other music streaming platforms, which already pay artists for their music.”

Emily Longeretta Lori Loughlin is back with her “Full House” family on Great American Family. The actress, who has not led a film since 2018, will star in “Fall Into Winter,” a January movie for the network. Production begins in October. “Lori is a genre-defining star that I have had the honor to call a close friend and collaborator for more than 15 years,” says Great American Media president and CEO Bill Abbott. “We have a shared vision for creating meaningful and memorable movies that resonate with our passionate fans, and I look forward to welcoming her back to Great American Family to anchor our 2023 winter programming slate.” Abbott recently opened up to Variety about his high hopes to work with Loughlin again, noting that the pair talk three times a week and were deciding between two different scripts.
