The Met Office has given its verdict on the recent "Arctic blast", revealing that the icy temperatures will soon be replaced by warmer weather.
Brits have been battling chilly conditions recently, but things are about to change as temperatures are set to rise to a balmy 25C by Wednesday (18 September).
Over the weekend there had already been a shift in the weather, with the cold being swapped out for drier conditions. Met Office chief meteorologist Jason Kelly reassured that these milder conditions are here to stay for a few more days.
By midweek, many parts of the country will be enjoying above-average temperatures, Jason revealed.The only exception is the extreme northwest of Scotland which is expected to see some rain.
