Met Office issues update on whether Northern Lights could be visible on Sunday night

The Met Office told the Manchester Evening News auroral activity is 'projected to be heightened again at times across parts of the UK on Sunday night', with northern areas of the country said to be 'most likely' to witness the Northern Lights with clear skies.
After Friday night's stunning show, star-gazers here were left largely disappointed on Saturday night, despite thousands of people flocking to high-ground beauty spots to catch a glimpse. The visibility of the Northern Lights - also known as the aurora borealis - was increased on Friday because of an 'extreme' geomagnetic storm, according to the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
