Scotland is set to be battered by powerful gusts up to 65mph this week, according to a new Met Office weather warning. Dumfries, Galloway and Ayrshire have been placed under a warning on Wednesday, November 2.

The Met Office has warned of a spell of 'very strong' wind as gusts reaching 55 to 65mph are expected, especially in exposed coastal locations.The Met Office has said travel delays are likely and short-term cuts are possible.
