It's good news for Manchester this weekend, as the weather is set to be largely sunny and dry with temperatures warming up. According to Met Office forecasters, fine conditions are forecast for much of today (Friday), Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures have now started to return to closer to or above average for this time of year. And from Monday, it will feel even warmer as temperatures climb to a maximum of 25C in our region.

Cloudier conditions may set in later this evening, with some rain showers forecast overnight into Saturday. But after a cloudy start to tomorrow morning in Greater Manchester, the rest of the day is set to be mainly dry and sunny again.
