Met Gala red carpet like a pro.The model recently sparked concern when she was rushed to hospital after experiencing stroke-like symptoms and was briefly unable to speak.Health experts determined that she suffered a mini stroke – a TIA (transient ischemic attack) – which her body managed to clear by itself.The 25-year-old opened up about her health while attending the exclusive bash, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night.Donning a stunning white halter-neck YSL gown with a thigh-high slit and feathered shawl, she spoke of the diagnosis and why she decided to go public with the news.‘I mean obviously it was a little bit hard to talk about… I felt like if it could help anybody, bring light to the situation,’ she said.‘I just wanted to share my story.’‘I’m just happy that I’m okay and I’m healthy,’ she added to Vogue in the red carpet interview.Hailey had been having breakfast with husband Justin Bieber when she started to feel unwell at the end of March – and was unable to respond when the Baby singer asked if she was okay.She was taken to hospital where she started to improve, and later discussed her ordeal in a YouTube video, telling followers that she had a small blood clot on her brain.On the possible reasons behind the mini stroke, she said: ‘One was that I had just recently started birth control pills, which I should have never been on because I am somebody who suffers from migraines anyway, and I just did not talk to my doctors about this.‘So ladies, if you suffer from bad migraines and you plan on being on birth control pills, make sure you tell your doctor because having a stroke is a potential side effect from birth control pills.’The star reassured fans that she was on the mend and had taking.
