Meryl Streep and Martin Short hold hands at ‘Only Murders’ premiere after dating rumors

A rep for Short, 74, later told TMZ that the actor and Streep, 75, are “just friends.” The “Father of the Bride” star reiterated that sentiment in an episode of the “Club Random with Bill Maher” podcast that same month.
Nevertheless, Short and Streep have still been spotted out and about together on numerous occasions. In March, they were photographed taking in the Broadway show “Merrily We Roll Along” at the Hudson Theatre in New York City.And now, they’ve been spotted holding hands.
The comedian and the “Devil Wears Prada” actress play love interests in the hit Hulu show, which also stars Steve Martin and Selena Gomez.
