‘Only Murders in the Building’ Renewed for Season 5 at Hulu
variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter “Only Murders in the Building” has been renewed for Season 5 at Hulu, Variety has learned. As with past seasons, Season 5 of the popular mystery comedy series will consist of 10 episodes.
News of the renewal comes a little over a week since the debut of Season 4, which premiere on Aug. 27. It is scheduled to run until Oct.
29. In the new season, the main trio (Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez) take a whirlwind trip to Los Angeles when a movie studio wants to turn their podcast into a film, while also trying to solve the murder of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), the former stunt double of Martin’s character.
The cast for Season 4 also includes: Meryl Streep, Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis, Eva Longoria, Richard Kind, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, and Molly Shannon.
